Current 2008 - 2009 Horns Whichever horns have had changes since the 2007 - 2008 season will be created and listed below! I will try to create as many as possible. 2008 - 2009 HORNS: ________________________________________________________ Boston Bruins Edmonton Oilers Vancouver Canucks (Version 1) Vancouver Canucks (Version 2) ________________________________________________________ 2007 - 2008 HORNS: ________________________________________________________ Anaheim Ducks Atlanta Thrashers (1st Goal - Song 2) Atlanta Thrashers (2nd Goal - Zombie Nation) Boston Bruins Buffalo Sabres (1st Goal - Beautiful) Buffalo Sabres (2nd Goal - I Love This Town) Buffalo Sabres (3rd Goal - Song / Rollin) Buffalo Sabres (4th Goal - Aint Talkin Bout Love) Calgary Flames Carolina Hurricanes (Version 1) Carolina Hurricanes (Version 2) Chicago Blackhawks (You Shook Me All Night Long) Chicago Blackhawks (One Fine Day) Chicago Blackhawks (Kane Goal - Rock You Like A Hurricane) Chicago Blackhawks (Ruutu Goal - Rudy Can't Fail) Colorado Avalanche Columbus Blue Jackets Dallas Stars (First Goal) Dallas Stars (Second Goal) Dallas Stars (Third Goal) Detroit Red Wings (Hey Hey Hockeytown) Detroit Red Wings (RRP2) Detroit Red Wings (Get Ready For This) Edmonton Oilers Florida Panthers Los Angeles Kings (Zombie Nation) Los Angeles Kings (RRP2) Minnesota Wild Montreal Canadiens Nashville Predators New Jersey Devils New York Islanders (Version 1) New York Islanders (Version 2) New York Rangers Ottawa Senators (Alfredsson Goal - Beautiful Day) Ottawa Senators (Heatley Goal - The Heat Is On) Ottawa Senators (Spezza Goal - I Like the Way You Move) Ottawa Senators (Redden Goal - Big Gun) Ottawa Senators (Crowd Chant) Ottawa Senators (Moon Revolution) Ottawa Senators (D.E.V.I.L.) Philadelphia Flyers Phoenix Coyotes Pittsburgh Penguins San Jose Sharks St. Louis Blues Tampa Bay Lightning Toronto Maple Leafs Vancouver Canucks (Version 1) Vancouver Canucks (Version 2) Washington Capitals ________________________________________________________ *Thanks to emilsejr for his Detroit, Florida, Nashville, New Jersey, and Pittsburgh horn recordings, to suspicious1 for finding "So Happy" by Sideshow Bob, and to chavakan77 for his Anaheim and Columbus horns. Another thanks to chavakan77 and NUMBER4 for their help in finally getting an accurate Boston recording, and to arossi12 for finding a good Vancouver recording! ________________________________________________________ For any people interested in making their own custom horns, I would recommend downloading the program "Acoustica MP3 Audio Mixer" and another program called "Audacity." I use Acoustica to do the actual mixing of the horns, and Audacity is used to add reverb to the finished creations. For all those wondering how to add reverb to horns using Audacity, all you have to do is go into the program, add the file with no echo, select everything you want to have reverb, go to Effect on the top toolbar, and scroll down to "Gverb." Once the new window opens up, fill in the following reverb values: Roomsize: 99.969 Reverb Time: 1.744 Damping: 0.851 Input Bandwidth: 0.552 Dry Signal Level: -3.08 Early Reflection Level: -10.43 Tail Level: -3.08 ________________________________________________________ 2005 - 2006 horns can also be found here. 1) Turn goal horns off (they reset each start-up anyway) 2) Add each song to the specific arena under the Home Goal Song section (since the goal song starts playing when the horn does) Great work, GFG. -------------------- |

Just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to gfg for all his hard work the last 4-6 weeks or more for these TOP NOTCH horns. Most of them have been in my game for quite sometime now, and having all of them is even better.
Thanks again for your hard work, and thanks to all that helped with this project. ----------------------------------------------------------- COUPLE OF NOTES for setting these up and so on.. 1. In game horns are OFF, this will also turn OFF the end of period buzzers 2. For those who have the game on the HD, you must also turn OFF Cut Scenes, otherwise the horns get delayed for some reason 3. Since their is the bug where Custom Presentation setting are not saved, you will have to raise the In Game Music before playing games This post has been edited by GoSens: Nov 25, 2004 - 09:41 PM |

I’m glad you guys are all enjoying the horns - it’s been a long project, but a fun one - I’ve enjoyed working with you guys to make these horns as accurate as possible. As amazing as it seems, the job isn’t completely over yet - there are some horns which I need to update (volume level, etc.). They’re simple updates, but they must be done to assure every horn is as accurate as possible, and so that finally the game can be played with the true horns and songs blasting after a goal.
If anyone would like a custom horn made, don’t hesitate to ask - I’ll be glad to make one for you, if you tell me how long to blast it, which horn, and which song. Enjoy the horns! This post has been edited by gflamesg: Nov 25, 2004 - 11:19 PM -------------------- GFG Horns - Accuracy Guarenteed! |

Do these have to be converted to wavs before you can put them on the xbox?
Also, dont want to sound spoiled, but whats the chance of getting all those files rar'd up into one file for download? Thanks! This post has been edited by alexkidd: Nov 27, 2004 - 07:14 AM -------------------- 2K3 = Soooo good at the time

I think putting all the horns together into one file would make the size to big. My internet isn't very fast, and I would probably end up waiting all day just for it to upload.

Is it possible to use these horns in a franchise that has already been started? I copied the horns to my Xbox - and changed them in my default Arena Music settings. However, when I load up my franchise, the horns won't play, and when I go into Arena music, it won't let me switch between arenas, and only lets me adjust music for a "generic arena".
What gives? |

I don't know much about transfering the horns onto the game, so you'll have to ask other users about that stuff. I just make the horns!

just edit your arena music outside the franchise, save it, load franchise, and load it in franchise.

Well I gave them a listen and they sound great. I got an Xbox a few weeks ago (I couldn't resist the Halo 2 hype) and I'm thinking of picking up a copy of the Xbox version soon so I can put these in. Nice job man.
