As the NHL 2K series evolved from Treyarch and Sega Sports to Kush Games, Visual Concepts and 2K Sports, the NHL gaming community evolved with it. From Thunderpuck to ESPNHockey.net to 2KHockey.net, our community has spent the past 10+ years actively and directly contributing ideas and improvements to hockey video games.

Obviously our numbers and activity have dwindled as 2K Sports stopped making hockey games a few years ago. But while the NHL 2K series may be gone, we're still here... and sim hockey lives on. It doesn't matter whose name is on the box; what's important is maintaining a community whose years of dedication and love for hockey video games truly gave us a voice with NHL game developers. We want that to continue as our site takes the next step and embraces the latest and greatest hockey games. As we've done through countless wishlists, forum debates, detailed feature ideas and direct conversations with developers, we will continue to strive for the most realistic, simulation-style NHL video games yet.
