Hello. So, I've come to love 2k10 for it's amazing sliders, but I've run into a problem, as of late.
You see, I have gotten to the point where even Venom's hardcore v3 sliders are simply too easy for me. I end up winning most of the games I play on those sliderd 5-2 or 6-2 or with scores like those. I tried sjssharks' sliders on 2kshare and they were very good, but disliked the complete lack of a speed burst (he has his all the way down to 0, and I dislike it because the CPU can use speed burst night and day but I can't, lol). What are some other good sliders I can use for a really challenging gameplay that still retains realism and fun? By the way, I would appreciate it if you all gave me slider suggestions for sliders that are of a MAXIMUM of 10 minute periods. I can't stand playing games with periods longer than those. In fact, to me, the optimal period time would be 6-8 minutes, lol. Anyways, thanks so much! |

I have run into that problem too. I just can't get a challenge with realism.

For the past 15 years I have been waiting to get my hands on a truly challenging hockey game, but the waiting just goes on and on...
I think that as long as CPU can´t learn from game to game the tricks that user is doing there´s no hope for getting a challenging AI. |

I hate to say this but it sounds like you have two basic options:
1) Give up a little on the realism and give the CPU enough advantages in the sliders to make the game more challenging for you (e.g., lower your Goalie's save skill while increasing the CPU's until they're a real threat, lower your Shot Accuracy, Pass Accuracy, etc and raise the CPU's, and so on). or 2) Change the way you play the game. Thus, for example, you might try putting limits on your own gameplay so that you never use a particular move or only use it so many times per game, limit yourself so that you only use the backskating trigger to turn around and then take you finger off of it (i.e., don't use the backskating trigger to help maneuver your player around the ice and such), and so on. |

haha dj neo, I am humbled to have you post in my thread. Your sliders were the first ones I ever used with NHL 2k10, and I loved them until they became too easy for me.
I will try your newer ones, though, as I haven't tried your sliders since they patched the game back, well, a while ago |
