Mario 64? Really? Please tell me that's just there because it's such a great game and not because you've never played it before.

Oh I played the crap out of it on the N64. Same as all those Virtual Console games. I just want to relive it. To me that is probably the greatest game of all time.

It's hard for me to say exactly what is the greatest game of all-time in my own opinion (there are quite a handful that are great games), but I would definitely not disagree with someone who thinks Super Mario 64 is, and it is definitely in my group of games I would be trying to pick between for greatest game of all time.

Amazing and revolutionary at its release, it still manages to be one of the few 3-D games that hold up over time. Taking in the fact it was among the first 3-D games released (not actual release, but that era) and that it still beats games even today is nothing short of amazing. There are people who still haven't figured out how to make a good 3-D game, let alone great.

Agreed. What amazes me when I play that game today, is how far games have come in 14 years. And yeah I know 14 years ago the same was being said about games from 1982. But still...

Just finished Brutal Legend. The game had some issues, and the ending was oddly a little open-ended, but it was a fun game.

I think it got beat up in reviews to much. People expected it to be some gaming milestone (I still don't understand why) and then complained and gave it somewhat low scores with negative tones because they felt it disappointed them.

I wish it sold better, because with the way it ended, as long as the story was good enough, I could easily have seen a sequel with how they left it a bit open at the end.

If fighting is part of the game, why do they stop the game when a fight starts?
